Nice Catch ! You in a canoe? Send some of that "spring" up here..........
We're in a severe drought, and the water is way down at Lake Manatee. But I decided to head out this morning anyway. Places where I normally fish are dry.
But I found an area that was holding fish. I caught a few early on poppers, then switched to my No. 12 bead head nymph.
End up with 40 bluegill, a couple of big shellracker, several stumpknocker, golden shiners and seven bass -- all on 1-weight.
It was good to get out.
Spring is here!

NICE fish, started fly fishing less than a year ago for stocked rainbow trout in my area but really wanting to catch some panfish. No luck with the fly rod yet.
im hoping to get a few good days like that around eastern washington this year, if not at least i will get some fly casting practice in (something i really need)
raising your voice, the next best thing to being right
Nice looking fish! Congrats on the catch!!!
