I got this idea from watching Salmon go through a school of Herring, slapping the Herring, which wounded them and then coming back and liesurly eating the poor sadly barely moving Herring that had been slapped silly and could only swim sorta on thier sides and wiggle a bit, then lay on thier sides and rest. Then wiggle a bit more, etc!

In lakes I've seem Minnows laying on the surface, apearently dead, laying on thier sides. Then a spark of life and they try to dive, only to float back to the surface again and lay quietly, till the Grim Reaper finally shows up.

So how about a Small Minnow look-alike that is tied to the hook, laying over on its side?
This would probably be fished Dry, on the surface, or maybe with a slow sinking tip.
Has anybody invented that one yet?

Possibly a Small Clouser tied across the hook for some Deep mooching?
