    Nice slabs!! Good to hear you put them back in to produce more trophies. I'll tell you though, I may have done so on the first one, maybe the second, but after 3,4, TWELVE, a couple would have been wallhangers. 17"-18" crappie are tough to come by here in my neck of the woods. Those big blacks sure do look pretty with a couple of them mounted on a piece of drift wood.

    Do you have any idea what they weighed? A 15 in. fish her can be up to 2#. tHOSE ARE SOME NICE FISH. I am not one to brag on anybody.

    I am curious as to your buddies gear and technique. looks like he used a clear line, was it a sink tip line? or an intermediate? also, what is the fly made of? might help me on some small lakes down in va....thanks....kip
