    Default Best deal on Waders?

Hey y'all, I'm a freshman at App State in Boone NC and have really started getting into fly fishing and I'm now looking to get a pair of waders, being a student I don't want to spend too much but I still want quality gear. I've been looking at a few different pairs but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good deal somewhere, I would really prefer to spend less than 100, any help is appreciated.

Cabela's and LL Bean have pretty good gear. At those prices, it's hard to go too terribly wrong with either.

I don't know anything about the Caddis.

For another wader option, check out the closeouts here:

This shop is in NC. I've ordered from them before.

If you're gonna be wading in a trout stream, you definitely need a pair of wading boots. Otherwise, you're gonna slip and break something. Wading boots have felt or studs on the soles so you can wade without slipping. If, on the other hand, you'll be sitting in a float tube in a pond, they're not necessary.

I will be wading in trout streams, but is there anyway I could just glue felt sole replacements on an old pair of hiking boots?

Frogg Togg breathables and their boots are pretty nice. I got a new set of waders from them but still use the older ones almost exclusively. Get the felt less boots.

I bought the Caddis waders and they are nice. Used them Jan 6 while fishing the Chattooga and am very pleased.
I have tried to glue new felt on boots with no luck.
