You might want to post this in the Hunting forum as well. I'm sure we have some duck hunters here.
Attention to anyone that is a fly fisherman, fly tyer or a duck hunter. I am looking for some duck feathers that come off the Canvasback duck and my understanding is they are in the Southern flyways . These ducks are not in our fly ways here in the northern part of the States .Attached is a photo of the feathers that I am looking for. I dye these feathers in several colors and use them as a trolling streamer for Crappie. Anyone that is interested in what the fly's look likes please let me know.

I was given a few wood duck feathers, but haven`t heard if any canvasbacks have been taken locally........ if I come across any I`ll save them for you............ post a pic of the streamer you tie........
Pat in NE NC
PS.......... I`ve got some turkey feathers
These fly's are three inches long on a 4/0 long shank hook and believe me the big Crappies have no problem taking in these big fly's.
Very nice flies, thanks for the pic
