Stick Marsh/Pond 13

Rusty and I went out yesterday and dipped our lines ! To our surprise on the first set of casts we banged to nice big slabs and then we waited awhile and banged 4 more then moved and got 5 more and so on and so on.

We ended up with 30 some total and 27 keepers 6 real big slabs. It was a picture perfect morning until the dreaded wind started and we ended up moving over to the Stick Marsh where we found a nice bed of grass and finished up our day there. Not sure how every one else did. we did see Glenn and his partner out there but can't remember what he said he got.

Good job. Me and my buddy Phil fished the pond on Sat, Sun and Mon. Sat and Mon were good. Sun started good until the wind made the pond dangerously rough for my little boat. I'm guessing we caught at least 200 fish these three days. Probably kept 25 slab crappie and about the same number of nice bluegill. We caught many crappie under 10 inches (I don't keep any under 10), numerous smaller gills and and more catfish then I ever want to see in this life time. They were actually a pest, never caught so many.
