    did u use just jigs on the gills, if so which ones as i dont have a lot of experience with gills and jigs justworms

    Yes Linda, all jigs. Very light and most folks can’t cast em far without a float or something. Darker earth tone colors work best and a super slow bottom crawl retrieve with and occasional pause. You also have to stay in touch to feel the pickup, they’re sneaky little devils. If you look up turtles jigs hey make some that I use when I don’t use my own, they’re actually a bit better in some ways. Black and brown mostly. Hope you see some beds on your side image and get a few. It’s worth setting up an ultralight rig just for these.
