Nice. Good job
After doing well they had to go back to give it another go. Had grass shrimp for crackers, worms and minnows for whatever was biting. Hit the pads and wernt doing very well but moved closer to where others boats were.
Got advice on how to present shrimp with no weight and started ketchn some. Picked up some smaller ones before hitting a couple Toads.
Moved to different area and got into some good size specs. Caught some gills too and had another real nice day.
Seems to be a good place to go. Several boatloads of guys with cane poles were really ketchn the crackers.

for some reason bymo doesn't post tho I encourage him to but I did this as I see CDC folks wanting to know where to go when they travel to FL to fish and wanting a good place to stay. Bymo spoke with the owner and told him I put a post on how good his resort and lake were and he said he just started seeing some crappie.com shirts and hats recently. So if you do go there remember to show the flag with your CDC gear.
Seems like good shellcracker population and they are ketchn them plus some good sized specs as well and you don't have to go a long ways to get them. advise to bring a pole along as the pads are in 5 to 8 fow and much easier to get around that way instead of TM at least it worked best for us.

That's a nice mess of fish!
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.
