isn't that usually from algae bloom that depletes oxygen? sounds awful no matter why.

Just left today back to Ky. We were all over Little Harris this week. Heard about the kill, but I only seen one dead crappie. Caught 17 Wednesday, then the bottom fell out and the fishing got slow. We managed 60 keepers, caught around 75 altogether.

Fished Beauclair on Tuesday. It’s usually the clearest lake in the chain but it was like pea soup from an algae bloom. Carlton wasn’t much better. We were bass fishing and didn’t catch a fish in either. Didn’t see any dead fish though.

I think it may be subsiding finally, didn't see any fresh dead fish this morning, less seagulls. Hopefully the wind the last few days helped aerate the water. Few guys in here been going to Griffin and getting limits in 2 hours dpiderrigging 10' in 14' water around Treasure island area.

Sorry to hear about all this. Hoping it gets turned around for the better. I’ve been kinda busy with work for a while now. I’m thinking this weekend needs to be mine!
