    Default Grass shrimp pattern

I fish a few Florida waters every winter, St.Johns, Talquin, Okechobie etc I have a guy who ties hair jigs for me, and wanted to see what patterns you all use? after googling fresh water shrimp I got thinking that all the specks i catch are dark color to match your tea colored water, so I wanted to see what Florida Shrimp look like vs. other fresh water shrimp or if there the same? Thanks ahead of time

These are smaller than 1/32 and I’m staying busy with the top two.

Perfect, would you call the bodies maybe a dark olive, and the tails maybe a chocolate mix?

Bodies are olive micro chenille and the tails are barred pumpkin color nymph size. Smaller than standard spinnerbait skirt, called silli legs. Probably only find em online. #8 hooks and would use a 10 if I could find a sickle hook that size.

Nice work! Gills and Crappies should hammer them.

I use Jim PopsJigs to tie all my jigs for vertical fishing and believe me the work. Going to be using them in Grenada in April. Fish them regularly in Talquin and Seminole

Well my Shrimp pattern jugs came in along with a variety of hair jigs, and after hearing good reports from central Florida, me and my friend Jimmy are coming down next Sunday for a week! I'm stoked because I usually fish these waters in winter and always here how good the Fall is. Thanks Skeetbum for the pix, Jim at Pops jigs nailed the pattern. Hey Swampcabbage do you have a youtube channel? Gater something or other? I know of a guy who uses his jigs in Fl.
