Hey Swampcabbage do you have a youtube channel? Gater something or other? I know of a guy who uses his jigs in Fl.
Tom, my buddy Gator is out of South Carolina but he fishes and guides all over including, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, that is his YouTube channel you’re referring to.

I'll be on Woodruff Sunday trying this jig out, I'll trim the tail but I think it turned out well. Hoping we can find some slabs in the pads.Name: 20231102_145117.jpg

Oh yeah that jig looks good. I’d definitely trim the tail but it should work good.

I believe you have it. They’ll tell you how much too long the tail is if you keep getting short strikes, that’s when I keep trimming til they take it first shot. I hope they’re doing well for you.

Skeetbum, I used it today trolling and caught a couple on it. Wish they were in the pads.

Those are a knockout Steve. I’m sure they’ll do the trick if the river ever comes back down. I’ve been salty waiting for them to come back out of the woods. I trim my rubber short on some of mine to get past the short strikers and pullers. My little black on black with short legs kept me busy a lot earlier this year.
