Can't attest to Astor but the fishing on lake griffin is poor. Can catch crappie but not very many. Good luck, hopefully others in the know will chime in.

Slab, without changing this post, my question for you is have you ever watched any Youtube videos of archery hunting for Tilapia? Might work for you off your sea wall.

You funny. You looking at my Amazon purchases! I have bow fishing arrows arriving today!

And I have watched those videos on YouTube. My tilapia are smarter than the ones on TV! They run as soon as they see me. And they're always looking for me. I'm afraid I've trained them. I may have to go out with the boat and the bow to find some stupid ones like on YouTube. They just seem to wait to get shot!

Change the post yobuck,we’ve got more. I’d try that if I had any shoulders left.

Fuzzy, I haven’t been to Astor in years but it’s always a good destination. If you’ve been there before it will probably be doing something similar when you get there.

We love Astor as well. We come down every year for a week over Easter. Already got a place on the river rented for the week. We did pretty good on the crappie in the pads last year.

I've been frequenting Astor lately since getting my new boat over at Fast Duck Motors. As soon as I drove over the Ocklawaha River I knew immediately where I was going to be making trips to this season. It looks super specky!
