It's been a while, but had a rare couple hrs of "free time" late this afternoon, hooked up the boat and shot over to the ramp. Put in at 6, ran down the ICW a few miles, caught a live well full of mullet set up in the back of a creek. We was looking for those hybrid bronze saltwater crappies lol. Low incoming tide brought the fish to us, we got train wrecked by redfish one after another. The shallow water and oysterbeds definitely gave them the upper hand for we kept getting cut off at some point during the battle, but managed to get a back to back 26" and 26.5" fish in the boat to bring home right as the sun went down.
