    Unless you GO!!
Central Florida's '23 weather pattern has been uncharacteristicallyHOT DRY WINDY!!
Yesterday, offered me a slight two-hour window of opportunity, that beagan @SUN-UP!(7-9) Because of my new-find lake, just a 30 minute drive, I seized the opportunity. L/l'g 1/16 oz. underspins w/2" twisters was technique-du-jour. While casting out the 2nd rod, the 1st rod was sounding the "Over here" alarm. A nice 12.5" healthy specimen made the livewell's water-level rise and that was just a preview of coming attractions of this Quick-trip!. Boated about 20, lost a few more, kept 14(up to 14 3/8") and enjoyed myself way beyond words.

Enjoy the pics of both the Fishin' and the Struttin' as I returned home. The two GOBBLERS were entertainining TEN HENS and were putting on quite the show(Fan-dance) that made me turn my rig around with hopes of capturing some pics.

    Thanks for Readin'/Ridin'/Reelin'...'til next time-

Note: Pics to be added. Almost Titled this Post "Courtship of Eddie's Father/Uncle" (Tom & Uncle Tom) They were Puttin-on-a-show fer the girls!!

Very nice! Did you start the day with a square donut?

Sounds logical BC...however, the additional one hour's drive[each way] yields instead to a square-meal @home.You'll never know? You'll never know

Some nice fish Doug! Good fillets off of that size fish makes dinner that much better. I’d like the less driving part too. That’s one of the factors that keep me from the coast is an hour each way.

You really hit home with those pics of the booming Toms Doug, Thanks! That's what I will be doing monday for next 3 weeks, getting out and Turkey hunting. BUT the call of the crappie will limit my hunting time as they are dancing close to the bank and i NEEDS to feel the thump as often as possible.

Nice that you found a place much closer than those other lakes you were hitting. Really nice to not have a big drive home after a day on the water.

Holy Smoke! What a nice mess of fish. Great to see the pup enjoying the trip. The pics are exceptional. As gas prices continue to rise and shortages happen, fishing closer to home will become the norm. I think you could catch fish in a storm ditch. You are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Tight Lines.
