    Default Another day in class

I normally go to the clays club on Saturday mornings but decided on a change of pace this week and invited NiNo to go exploring with me and try some new to him techniques. He was all in and at my door at 6:30. After a Dunkin stop we dropped in and didn’t go far for the beginning of the day. We found some but when they slowed some I noticed folks eyeing me and where I was so off we went to the big lake. Having done the trolling thing many times in past weeks it was off the table today and the short casting rods, the tiny rods and one dipping rod got to go for the ride. All got used but one and all caught fish. Shooting under cover and trees and docks and about anything else that looked fishy, we slowly marched our way to a respectable 6 fish in the cooler over 13”. All of which went free at the last stop. In close and personal in the trees blown down along the river took some time for my student to adjust but he’s a very quick study and he actually had me neck and neck for cooler dwellers. I personally had a great time and we stayed later than usual, not packing up til about 1:00 with a good run home upriver. Thanks for going NiNo. It’s great to hand off methods to someone that pays attention and will put them to use. Heres a few highlight pics. Hope to see y’all soon, til then……Skeet

Nice day in school Teech! Nino's turning into quite the Teacher's PET!! Gotta watch missing your Clay club attendance/enrollment though = may get yourselves THROWN/TOSSED OUT! Great to add the diversity into Nino's diet. Very lucky to have found you/each other. IMHO, a multi-technique angler Should be a better angler. Bigger bag o' tricks yields to a more Well-rounded fisherman! Square-Donuts definitely yield to quicker results!
    Nice Pics-o'-PROOF too!

I always enjoy your 'Teacher's test' with the ruler's fish-placement pic...enabling our math skills! DEFINITELY something a Teacher would do!!

We all have a lot to pass on, the thing is to find someone with the interest/passion/time to give this to. He fits into all these categories and is easy to be around with so many shared interests. Being close to the same age, we don’t outrun one another either. We both move a little slower and with more purpose. Thanks for all the good words folks.
