Fattie caught while
fishin' SKINNY!. Made a trip yesterday with single-pole castin' on my to-do list. Caught an OK mess o' good-size Specks while castin' 5' u/l spinning w/1000 size reel with plastic 1/16~32 oz. artificials with 2lb. braid. Popular lure was a 1.5" Black/Chartreuse tube. The definitive trophy was this stubborn, beautifully-colored male coppernose b/g that was extremely boat-shy! My nicest in years on that type tackle...a flyrod would have been the Ultimate.
