    Default Dead lake specks


    Fished dead lake and the canal today.
    The wind made it tough and the the colder weather did too. Only managed 3 Specks.
    Add 3 catfish and a bowfin and that's all I caught. Talked to several folks and they said they wasn't doing good either. Very slow bite for sure.
    Was going to fish around Dunn's Creek tomorrow, but think the even colder weather will keep me off the water early. I may try the afternoon bite.

    Sunday morning was the only time ive had recently to go fishing..the plan was to hit Crescent, the front changed that..20-30 mph winds is no good for there. I turned at the mouth, and just fished the edges of the pads down Dunns..managed 3 but they were all solid just at or over 13 inches.. Couple bowfin too.. Then the rain hit ...
    Spoke to a few that came in late saturday grabbing minnows at GA. Boys, was the same 1- 3 fish...
    Hope you get on them and have better weather!

    Good luck guys. Same thing here, I only go for a short time but only 3 crappie this morning. Two were nice ones though so happy with that. Did manage a bass too. Always fun being on the water.
