Got a chance to run to Astor for a couple of days next week. Got a couple of questions any info would be appreciated. Dexter or Woodruff? Throwing jigs to bank, pads or trolling? Hottest color jig?

Both lakes are usually good this time of year. I haven’t been out but if I had the time to go I wouldn’t hesitate.

Update. We fished Wednesday and Thursday morning on Woodruff. We kept 46. Caught a few popping jigs under a cork. No real hot color. Black and pink or blue and silver were the most successful. Caught most of our fish on minnows free floating them. Once the wind picked up we drifted with minnows. Going back in 2 weeks. Can’t wait to get back.
