Livingston

Weather: Sunny, 77* air temp

Wind: 3-5 mph

Water Temp: 69.8*

Method: 10' jigging rod, 10lb flouro and hand tied jigs.

Slipped away Friday evening (12/16) for a quick jigging mission. I struggled for the first hour to find fish and managed to find every snag in the lake. Also, I might have said a bad word or two. Finally got lucky and started putting fish in the boat. Ended up w/17 for a 3 hour trip.


Walk-In-The-Water

Weather. Partly Sunny/Cloudy, 63* air temp warming to upper 70's*

Wind: 7-12 mph on Sat and light wind Sunday

Water Temp: 68.9*-70.2*

Method: Trollling tube jigs .8 to 1.0 and various colors

On Saturday I planned to take my Son and his girlfriends Son. Neither are too familiar with jigging so I opted for trolling. Only problem was that they canceled late friday night. Since I was rigged and ready to go I trolled WITW alone and had a ball. Caught a limit of fish by noon and had a few dandy fish mixed in.

Crooked Lake

Weather. Sunny, 58* air temp warming to ?*

Wind: 12-15 mph wind Sunday

Water Temp: 72.9*-73.4*

Method: Trollling tube jigs .8 to 1.0 and various colors

Sunday my Son was able to find his way to the boat ramp. We fished for less than 2 hours in miserable wind. Caught 6 fish and released them before we left.


Anything with green or orange/white was getting hit.

Tight Lines

Great report, I found some prespawn fish in south chain finally. Caught them on jigs
