Sounds like an awesome day
received at the conclusion of a beautiful, but COLD day on the Gulf. At least 3 dozen speckled trout were fooled on artificial on med light spinning tackle. Fortunate to get my limit of 5 with one trophy 20". Most fish were under the 15" limit, but caught 10 keepers. Best gift was last spot with a 34" Snook testing my knot-strength on med. light spinning tackle before I slipped the net for the photo-shoot/release (out of season). Blue crabs also made the ice-bath!Attachment 444792Attachment 444791Attachment 444793

Thanks Keith...In reflecting that trip's end result, my analogy = My Feb. 28th Shoulder-break incident yielded the self-assigned GUIDE/front-seat electric motor mate. Probably, knowing me, was able to finagle a modest amount of "fishing". Even remember having assessed your netting skills as Byford was in his Surface-drive CAPTAINS chair. Now, that being relayed...remember the old, famous saying "You can lead the horse to water, but he doesn't(can't) have to drink it!! Please refer to my latest post...just coming off the press.
Thanks for checkin' on me! CURIOSITY takes me there, SUCCESS ushers me back!
