    Default Billbob Lake Griffin State Park Slabfest Nov 5th


    Come one come all.

    Since the Monroe event got flooded out, and people want to get out anyway, and our one and only Billbob is coming to town, I made an executive decision and will be holding the event at Griffin Lake State Park. More details to come...

    I did speak with CG1 about Dora. She's not up to making it happen as she's still recovering. Let's all pray she gets to walking and fishing again real soon. She did say she would be at the Griffin event come heck or high water!

    Awesome. This is coming together nicely. 200 filets will likely be way more than enough. But let's see what the responses here are on attendance. The pavilion is booked. Just have to come up with a timeframe. Something like fish till 1ish then we start to cook and eat and chat. Tell them you're with crappie com at the gate.

    I’m in. Joan and I will bring stuff like we usually do and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some of the folks who’ll be attending for the first time. Gotta come see the mayor when he makes the trip.

    Might try and sneak over for the bull**** session in the Morning and fish a little while. Have my daughters birthday party to attend in afternoon so likely won't be around for festivities after.
