I was told our docks/ ramp at Riverbend will be close until further notice (2 weeks estimate) as a lot of water is still to come from south of Astor.

All ramps in Volusia county are closed. This covers Monroe and parts of the St. John’s
Pretty sure Seminole count ramps are closed as well. This covers Lake Jessup and Harney.
Water was down about 8-10” at our place and we are a few hundred yards south of Highbanks ramp.
If I had to bet, it’ll be December before it’s open.

I stopped by Highbanks boat ramp on the St Johns in Debary yesterday.

the ramp is still under water and from the looks of it, it will be for awhile yet.
I also took a look at the marina next to the ramp.

The pics of the specks has been killin’ me all over Facebook. Been cravin’ those tasty critters but water is still up but I have to go take a gander I guess but worse case scenario I’ll have to wait December or January.

Water here just south of Highbanks is dropping about 2” a day. At that rate, it’ll be at least December before any ramps open.
Also talked to a friend that lives on the river in east Geneva. She said they are finally able to walk to their gate but still need boots. She also said the smell of dead fish is terrible.
