Just a few lines to keep everyone in the loop. Been out of the hospital after the gallbladder thing a week yesterday and that’s doing good, no issues. My radiation burn in the back of my throat is laying down and allowing me more comfort, less pain meds, and the ability to eat. My stomach has shrunk a bunch and I’m just now able to eat a child’s portion but I’m thankful. I haven’t been able to eat 3 times a day for a few months and I was able to do that today. Doctors are making happy noise and telling me to be patient, that my strength will return in time and I just need to stay on track and not do too much too soon. Easier said than done. Thank y’all so much for following my path through all of this. The emotions are the hard part and it helps greatly knowing y’all have my back. Hope to see everyone at the upcoming Slabfest……..Skeet.
