Short trip but fruitful
I got out today for a few hrs and caught some nice fish. The spawn is coming on strong and the big black male's are very active. Didn't catch big numbers but caught big fish. Everything caught trolling in 5' to 7' of water. Those big males hit hard, I think they were guarding the nest.

I fished VA for Crappie in my younger days. Great fishery. I wish I could remember the names of the lakes but old age has taken some of my memory. At least I forgot the names of all the fat girls I dated in High School.
