Reminds me, back in my caddying days, an ol' guy decided to retrieve his fav Titleist...nice weather complimented his impromptu SWIM! HE DID GET HIS BALL BACK THOUGH, lol! On the 2nd nine, his three companions made up Three "1" Judge's Scorecards to lift up when he got close to the next water hazard! Almost Lost My Favorite Lure Almost Lost My Favorite Lure

Jigs not so much, but I had a favorite rod go over and I fell to the deck to grab it and just brushed it with my fingertips. No thought involved, over the side I went. My partner in the boat said he couldn’t have called for help as he was speechless! I grabbed the rod and headed up without my phone, shades, and wallet in my pocket that took two days to dry out…….but I had my rod. Still have it. It was 23fow so I would have never seen it again. Best reel I’ve ever owned too.
