Good job, thanks for sharing
Got out on Lake Griffin for a few hours Friday. Not much luck to start with but did manage to find a few. Switched up from Hoggie crankbaits to Hoggie hair jigs for a slower presentation...and low and behold they worked too, my first time using them. Did not have long on the water because I had to help with a house moving. Fishing was much more fun and more relaxing. LOL By the way these were caught on all handmade-ON a rod that I built and hand tied hair jigs from Hoggie Baits. For those that were at the Monroe Slabfest this past November and got to see the crankbaits that were given away as a door prize these hair jigs are made by the same gentleman. Hope to be able to catch as many on his hair jigs as I have on the crankbaits. Check out other pics on facebook Hoggie Baits.

Nice looking baits and rod. The fish seemed to think so too.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
That’s some good looking gear. Those jigs are well done and I’d like to hear about the rod on the rod building forum. You found some nice fish too.

Great looking fish. Good job. Griffin seems to be getting better every year. I always say it's gotten better since Hurricane Irma came through and flushed out the pea soup it used to look like (algae).

Gotta give the hair jigs a go, just hard to pull away from the confidence in plastics, is the rod a Mud Hole product?....Nice few for your limited time OTW.

nice job on the fish , jigs and rod.
another good day at the office !
Thanks for the comments. The rod is a Mud Hole product. I posted on the rod forum back in the fall under " They say build it and they will come". I am working on a couple more at this time. As I said back then "building them can be fun but frustrating", but I do enjoy it.
Yep, live right down the road from Mud Hole, funny they always tell me 90% of their business is out-of-state fly rods for the most part, most locals don't know about them.
