Thread: Not a one fish limit - on anniversary

Congrats on your anniversary. A few good fish to remember the day by. They would’ve been dinner at my house but I let lots of em go too. Now all we need is some cake pictures. You did get her a cake to share with everyone, right?

Mother Nature musta known it was my anniversary, caught more than my limit of one, doh! And it's been the 35 best years of my life. So wifey sent me fishing. Go figure. I'm thinking she just wanted some peace and quiet for a bit as she just got home from watching and helping with our daughters newborn for the last two weeks up in Illinois.

This was caught on a torn up Pico jig, one I've thought of replacing that keeps catching. It's shredded, but smothered in Slabsauce it just keeps on catching.

Nice fish too, especially for Lake Griffin at this time of the year. Caught five crappie.

Now OK, women and children look away. No-one want to see feet! But in any case, here's the story behind it, That 12 inch fish above stuck me three times. Once in the finger and two spines in the toe. All three right at the nail. Hurt like heck. Dang, I shoulda ate that fish, but nonetheless he swims on.

Congratulations on your anniversary and your success on the water. Wife of 44 years and I will be down at our condo near Welaka in September for a couple weeks and again after Christmas just hope to land a few . Again congratulations and safe fishing.
