    Default Orange Lake

I was told recently that orange lake was infected with hydrilla and not able to troll for crappie, does anyone on here know if that is true or not? I was also told it was very hard to get out of Marjorie Rawlings Park because of hydrilla, I am wanting to go fishing there in a couple weeks and would like to know for sure before I head over there. Thanks for any responses!

It has been 2-3 months since I was last at Orange Lake. At that time, I did see a larger than normal amount of hydrilla, especially in the area I have heard called Twenty Brothers and Seven Sisters which I believe is the north area. For me, as I exited from the Marjorie Rawlings ramp, I turned to my right to get to the area where I discovered most of the hydrilla. I found most of it in relatively shallow water out to 7' deep. The deeper water did not seem to hold as much. Again, this was several months back.
I'll be watching here for more info.
Thanks lonewolfz thanked you for this post
