undoubtedly, regardless the species, the ultimate skip-a-beat moment!! Yesterday, I planned a mostly 4 wt. fly-rod bream day, and surely it didn't disappoint...even staying a less than a 20 minute drive from home! Got some studly b/g>9", shellies>9"Name: 20210507_104458.jpg

Size: 114.5 KB(most were caught with worm added), and a ton of stumpies(stumpknockers). Although the hoards of stumpies don't measure more than 6", the thicker, shouldered ones are well worth the filet effort= delicious. Brought home a bunch of fish to bag up/eat up. Something about the red ear-flap coloration that really does it for me. Found some schooling, surface activity on some 8-10" specks/1 lm>2lb on the way back to the ramp, catching 5 on ultra-light just slow-swimming 1 1/2" yellow twisters on 1/32 heads. Couple mudders also caught...early Happy Mudders day ladies!
