    I, unfortunately, have done that. Lived in Hawaii way back when and dunked my care and trailer into the one freshwater reservoir on the island. Thought I had it in park, jumped out to release boat, car started rolling--splash. Tried to keep it on the ramp but it started drifting as it went down. Jumped over the hood to the driver's door to try to keep it on the ramp. Sunk in mud up to my knees--car drifting over top of me. Grabbed the mirror and let it pull me out. Car went down, still running. Totaled. Tow truck driver had a good laugh. I now have a good story to tell.

    I will Never forget to put the emergency brake on. Check List hanging on rear view mirror. Plug in, Strap off, coffee thermos loaded, and Emergency Brake On.
