That sounds like the homemade schedule 40 pvc style do a search for homemade spider rigs
What are those white plastic “half circle” style rod/cane pole holders called? Trying to see what you can order some, but can’t seem to find any online due to not knowing what they are called.
thanks in advance.

Not sure if you get up to Lake Wales Florida, but there is a fishing tackle store called Bridgemasters aka Fisherman’s Candy Store. They used to have them, best to call. Good luck

What time is it? IT'S CRAPPIE TIME!
Garrard's in Okeechobee has them. Come in two sizes.
The tackle shops in Okeechobee have them. Every pontoon boat down there will have them all around the boat.
They sell for about 2.50 each as i recall.
Perfect. For that price sounds more beneficial to buy instead of make. Want to use pvc to make a temporary spider rig style setup on my flats boat. Want to mount these style pole holders on the pvc running along the sides of the boat
I bought some a couple years ago and used them for the same thing.
They are best when used in the manner they get used in Okeechobee, Anchored up sitting still.
You will need to employ something like those star washers under the plastic, so it digs in and prevents them from moving when a fish hits while trolling. I also bought 1/4x 20 thread round plastic knobs on EBay so i could tighten them down harder than i could with the small wing nut. But even the Driftmaster type can be turned when a fish hits on occaission. They need to be locked down well also.
Set them up in a way so that they can all be removed as one unit. I mounted mine on a 1 x 3 pc of oak, then painted that and mounted the oak onto a rail mount. You could make the rail from 3/4 copper tubing, but PVC dosent work very well.
No need for solder, just epoxy any fittings you use.
