Excellent trip Tim. I'm glad to see someone catching fish, the nearest thing to a rod in my hands is the handle of a shovel or rake. The CEO has been working me like a rented mule.

Yo- I have colors that I haven’t used in a very long time. They get shuffled out eventually.

Vic, I’m just waiting for you to call to be the other person in my boat. Heal well, but heal fast!

Sam, it wasnt me that voted her into office! LOL Your time is coming soon

Thanks everyone, the freezer is lookin better. The half shell deal didn’t get much interest past me.

    Nice day you had.
Glad it worked out, for one of us working men!
I don’t even watch the weather liars.
They are always way off. Especially on wind.

But the fish were biting and the rain never came til after I was done. Used my 6’6” Browning Airstream rod almost all day with a 1/32 and a bgbs. Blue thunder was the color. Started slow, got a few fish then slowed down some more. I almost started believing the forecasts. But y’all know me better than that. Made a little move and started picking the small places. Hadn’t made many casts and the line jumped, had to get him out of there. He kinda had me scrambling, looking for the net that I hadn’t taken out yet. And he would be the best of the day. A pound and ten. Two more nice ones followed his trip to the net in the next five minutes. Haven’t done this with fish this big in a while. Now I had 4 in the box and was thinking about crappie on the half shell......Yummy!! No other biguns like those followed but I stayed in the fish for the next two hours. The wind never let up, had to stay after the boat control, and the temps seemed to fall. Wasn’t anything I couldn’t stand but it wasn’t comfortable either. I’d been there just over 3 hours and now had 7 in the box, and yes, I was getting hungry. Packed up and headed home. I spent the last hour releasing 10 to 12” fish that would have made a good fish fry much better. Small side note, check out what was in the belly of one of them. Lots of them. It’s no wonder my baby Shad was working so well. Hope y’all get out soon.... Skeet Attachment 396797
