All my girls put together a yard sale this morning and I had set up and sign duty. It was kinda OK anyway, I got a good everything bagel out of the deal, toasted with butter. So about 8:30 I dropped in, might have been 9. I went to the river to see if the gills were busy and if any crappie had begun the move yet. Though it wound up with nothing kept and no giants to come visit, I was pleased at the end for having fished the bottom of the curve between feeds on my app. There wasn’t many but they were thumpin hard. I thought I had a couple of biguns but I never got any over 12, and they’re all still there. Probably got about 16 to 20 total with one good Gill to run me in circles. Looking forward to them moving in and setting up shop close to home.
Came home and mounted the trolling motor on the Jon boat I’ve been fooling with for a while. I’ll do a debut when I get it put together. It will do much better in the river than the skiff does. All in all a productive day for me and apparently several others. Glad everyone enjoyed the day and got a few and the weather held off enough to get it done. No pics, maybe next time. Hope to see y’all soon, keep after em......Skeet
