I want to be at their house when they’re done catching and start cookin!! That looked GOOD!!

That’s a bit too far into the cane for me but it does work. Good video.

That motor's reverse is 1 cool accessory, would be interesting to see how it would fair in thick hydrilla, like the lake attached to Fox lake out by you, I think they call it Grass lake. I also like his point on harvesting, keeping in mind the size of that body of water, of course....

Is fox lake or south lake worth fishing for bass or specks? I have never been there by boat and have been wanting to go explore it with my flats boat.

It has been many, many years since I was out there (Fox lake and South lake) fishing. Way back before they drained Fox lake and re-did it, the Speck bite was good. After they re-did the
lake the Speck bite was non-existent (for me) but I only tried it a couple times with no results. As far as South lake = back about the same time I ran out into South lake (in my old boat),
and saw all these little thingies on the surface of the water, I came off plane and discovered it was hydrilla, just touching the surface = I couldn't get back up on plane because of the stuff,
and had to resort to goosing the motor, then lifting the foot out of the water = dumping the hydrilla off the foot, then goosing the motor again to gain some few yards distance, then repeat
procedure until I finally got back out of the lake and back into the canal ..... Ain't been back .................... (haven't ever heard of them re=doing South lake) ......
All this happened around 2002 or so , been long long long time ..........

I have been back to Fox lake for different events, even putting my boat in and running around in the lake. Have seen a few folks fishing but couldn't say whether they were doing any good or not.
