Thanks for the thoughtful comments, however, it is I that has received benefit from peeling back the layers of this pure blood Florida cracker we all know as Phantom 309. The back stories are endless & filled with wisdom, only a elder could've experienced with a soulful southern style....You see Danny got cast into a deep depression/isolation after his wife Beth passed some 2 yrs ago & it's been a rekindled relationship with his son=building project & the bringing by of a few bags of fish every so many months to rejuvenate his life-long passion for the outdoors, AKA...fishing. Guess he's come to realize she's left many fond memories & would kick his #@^ if he didn't carry on. I'm more than happy to have a small part in this kick-start, but truth be told, Danny's conscious has proclaimed "It's Time"...Forget the where & how of this last fishing trip. What's really impressive is seeing a 80 plus yr old hop over the front of his boat to wench it up to the trailer. Went to help him & he say's that's ok, I have a procedure. If I'm blessed to know I can do this 30+ more yrs. his presence is more than encouragement....OK, for the report...the best information I can provide is that the water temps are now in the sixties & that means your favorite Central Florida lakes have the specks stacking up. Simple as drifting minnows across the lake should put fish in the boat....good luck out there, now's the time!!

Talking about my son and our building project .... I had stopped having relations with him due to a serious
confrontation on another sublect that I won't go into, lasted around five years we didn't speak to one another,
but... when my wife past I had to make my son my new benefactor to my insurance policy.
I called him up to get his information etc, and he profusely apologized and thus a new relationship began.

We poured the slab together and bought the building from one of these companies that put up these type
buildings, and ever since have been outfitting the inside, and adding a chicken yard to boot etc, etc, etc .....
Here's a pic = In the left corner will be a "leather shop" and little welder on the far right, and close right is
the place where one works on vehicles etc, etc ... It has two roll up doors in the front .....
Still got much to do .....................

We finally got there, had to back the trucks way down in the water before the boats would float off, but, everything worked out good......
Jeff got stuck three times but I was able to pull him out, that little Xterra sure tried it's heart out .....

Was hoping to have a banner catch day but, was long in coming .... We did get a few = I got em
on ice on the back porch = will post pics tomorrow when I clean em

Very nicely done, collaborated project, Danny...some folks would love to call that 40 X 50(?) their home! I see you have a "game room" goin' on too!...,Trophy-racked Florida antlers, Pig jerky hangin' to cure(only an arm's length from your project development desk etc. etc.
