Went to the SJR out of Geneva couple days ago and I must say that I was not dissapointed. Caught about 13 specks, only kept 11. Caught a couple keepers in the brush on my BnM sam heaton super sensitive rod. Love that thump. Thump therapy is what I call it. Now the rest of the specks I caught were from under a dock that must have had lots and lots of'em held up under in the shade. Casted my curly tail grub and just kept gettin' hits. Reelin'em in. They seemed to like the 1/24 oz jig head paired with a grub curly tail plastic. Was usin' my wally marshall sharp shooter rods for the dock shootin'. My rods were spooled with Slime Line 6 lb mono hi-vis and 6 lb slime line super stretch. My favorite mono line by far. Fun fun fun day it was. Off the water at 10:25 am. Current was rippin' and the heat ran me off. The specks made it to my cuttin' board. Me and the dogs ate good that night. Name: IMG_20200616_172525_385.jpg
