I usually fish the the NW part of the lake out from Hendersons. I fished it last Friday Saturday and Sunday am. I was able to catch about 17 -18 in a 6 hour day. Most of the time I fish around the full moon from Memorial Day Thru July. I did decent last year like 40 before lunch. This year was slow. The pads were beat down and thinned out by boat motors where I usually fish. The size of the fish are really large ( 10 to 10 1/2 inches). The guy that runs Hendersons Fish camp said his mom in law caught 40 last Thursday evening. I've noticed the fishing pressure is pretty happy high the year I think due to covid 19. Here's a nice one I caught last Saturday. I have not spent much time targeting crappie on this lake but have heard good things during the right to time. I just have not figured out when is the right is. I drifted the deeper water out from windy point on the April full moon from dark to 1 am with minnows and did not get one crappie and I use bright lights when I night fish.
