Smelly fish remains
That time of year again. Put fish guts in trash and the smell makes you run away after a day in the heat. I even doubled bag in grocery bags and the put in sealed ziplock to no avail. My only workable solution to date is fish on Thursday as the trash man comes on Friday. Even then the can stinks to high by Friday night.
Any suggestions

Put Fish guts in freezer, put out day of Garbage pickup. I knew of a guy that was taking the guts down to the park and placing it in the dumpster they had. The park set up a trail camera and caught the guy, but it worked a long time for him!!

1) Use post hole digger to make burying a little easier or freeze until trash day, just make sure to mark “TRASH” and don’t forget. lol. Just goes along with fishing and if you have guts, it means good fishing.

mine go into garden and you should see my tomatoes! even in the awful rock filled red clay soil. If you have roses or flowers they love em too. but make it a lil deeper as the coons will dig em up as they love em too. at the country place toss them in the pasture and between cats, dogs, coons and coyotes they are gone usually overnight. or I put them in bucket and take them back to docks where I caught most of them at and dump em back in to attract minnows which attract crappie, catfish and others.
