    Default Second Chance

A long story that I’ll cut down best I can. modifications to the boat have had me busy evenings and I’ll get em finished soon. I’ll be able to find bluegill beds when I’m done. So with everything changing on a daily basis I figured I better get it while it’s HOT! So I hooked up last night and headed back for another chance that the fish I left last week were still there. They were. The early bite wasn’t there but patience paid off. Didn’t measure any, or weigh any, but numbers were better and the size not quite up to last week. I’ll bet I caught 30 tater chip size fish under 7”” but over 6”. The long rod got a few but the majority came on small stuff. The little Fenwick has become one of my favorites pretty quick. Surprised when I looked at the time and it was 10:30. Pulled and went home and cleaned fish after a bite, might go again in the morning. Hope y’all get out, maybe I’ll see you there. Stay healthy and til next time......Skeet Name: CE1AD2E4-3604-4916-B2D7-4F09C200A911.jpg

The front row are all 14”” or very close except the gill. Fillets swimming in oil for the first time in a while. I want some cole slaw but not fighting the masses and taking risks to get it. Might have to go to Popeyes and pay the extra.

Wish I was out there but 20. To 30 mph winds kept me away. Plan on going Monday, best weather report for the week. Stay safe y'all.

And this was their next pose, alongside of the Okra and stewed tomatoes and Mac and cheese. About half went as leftoversName: 01C899FB-8337-4507-85B5-7C6CF1C39B6E.jpg
