I see it all the time in mine. I just figure it veins that all the blood didn’t drain from and just turned black. Little breading and hot grease will take care of them quick.

I would venture a guess that they are probably parasitic trematodes (flukes) otherwise know as simple parasitic worms. I have heard that they come from infected waterfowl such as herons, cormorants, osprey and etc.
I am not real sure of the consequences from the ingestion of the worms, (if that's what they are), but I would think that the cooking process would probably kill any harmful things.
Nonetheless, I typically don't eat anything that don't look right, (including worms) so my suggestion would be to throw them out... and at very least no crappie sushi or ceviche.

Too uniform a pattern across the fillet to be flukes in my opinion. I'd think they are just veins, maybe with blood left in them. I'd think Crays solution to them would work just fine. "Little breading and hot grease will take care of them quick."
X4 on veins, I have eaten filets like this many time with no issues.
