Good job, great report. Thanks for sharing.
Got on a few today in the SJR out of Cameron Wright Park. Wind was real low which was a huge plus for me. The only thing I wish I would have done better today is not forget my anchor, keep forgettin' about the current. LOL!! Got 3 decent size Specks and a nice Sunshine bass. Got a few other bites vertical jiggin'(my favorite way to catch'em). The Sunshine bass was a fighter, she didn't have any crooked lines like the other ones I caught in the past. Was able to take a pic of one of the Specks I caught at the end of my adventure. Berkley 1/8 ounce marabou jig in all white was the jig to use today. It was slow but went out to see if any big gals were around. Males was all I caught. Will not forget my anchor next time. Can't wait 'till it gets fired up next month after full moon. Water is chilly to. Read 59-60 degrees where I was at.

specktacklure, Conrod LIKED above post
That’s a good fish. We all forget important stuff sometimes, my net being buried under my rods was as bad as not having one. You might try sliding a small chartreuse curl tail under the maribou, would make it an acid rain color which has done well lately. Keep after it, you’re doin good.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Ok I will do that. Thanks for the tip brother, have those in my lure box. That speck was pretty thick, had some shoulders on him for sure. Sent from my SM-N950U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
