    Default Dark Water Crappie

Guys, do you notice an increase in the thin red worms embedded in the crappie fillets while fishing brackish\swampy or tidal waters? I find a lot of the crappie here in the eastern NC coastal rivers have them..I just cut around them as they are harmless. Just wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts on this.

I bet of all the Crappie I have cleaned maybe 10 had worms. That's fishing the St John's between Lake Harney up past and including Crescent.
