    Default Day Two Castaways on the River


    Not a bad day considering the morning weather was misty and humid, didn't start out til around 8:30 fish were not cooperating on jigs under a cork. We switched to 32 oz pop eye jigs tipped with Gulp Alive Minnows and a spritz of Slabsauce and dipping the grass and pads. Wham a big gill then another and a crappie, we got onto something, spent the rest of the afternoon and ended up with a mixed bag, gills, shell crackers and crappie also one green fish for a total of twenty, sorry no pics this go around but will post more after the weekend. Don't fish the weekends.

    Good job. 32 ounce jigs are awfully heavy. We know you mean 1/32 but I could not help myself!
