Was wondering when jig fishing lily pads do you ever use 2 jigs instead of a single jig. Talking five feet of water or less.

Most pads I fish are also packed in with water lettuce and hyacinths. Sometimes even raking holes to drop through.

I’m on the exact same page as Huntinslabs. Having done some of that I’ve been lucky to get mine back once dropped in the stuff. A #4 usually works well for me until the fish get big and then I go to a #2 and take my chances. Good luck and keep us posted.
