    Default Counting Down to Astor

Miss Vickie and I are looking forward to our second "snow bird" trip, we will be staying at Castaways on the River in Astor starting 1 January through February. Fished there last year and really liked the area. We will be in a red and gold Nitro Z19, gonna try long lining for the first time as well as hitting several of the lakes down there.

    Good Fish's to all

Good luck. Hope you get into them good. Share pics too please. We like pics. We’ve done ok longlining here on griffin (Harris chain). 6-8 ft of water. Any colors. Just off bottom. About .8 to 1.0 mph.
