It was a good time for sure. And a good turn out.
Great event. Thanks Skeetbum for setting it up. Takes a lot of courage to volunteer for something you've never done before. Especially something so big. Lots of folks. I'll add more pics, but here are a few....
This picture was taken for Billbob. Crappiegirl1 showed up with cake, and for some reason all the women at the event showed up in the same place, so I naturally thought of Billbob. I asked the ladies for a group pic. I really shoulda taken video cause they actually started to break out into a chorus line kicking up their legs and all.
Skeetbum and the Andersons help tremendously to make this a successful event.
Tanner cam in first and won two 16ft BnM poles.
Specktacklure actually tied with Tanner, but graciously gave up the first place prize to Tanner. The rods cut in half and split would prolly not have worked out well anyway. Thanks Bryan.
Here's Bryan, with the winning weight fish at 1 pound 9 ounce.
Slimjim came in 3rd with a 1 lb 3 oz crappie.
Specknator was too busy to make it, but he was well represented with a custom made bird house he donated to the event, smoking a cigar.
More pics to come. Feel free to post some up too.

It was a good time for sure. And a good turn out.
Flycaster looks great, especially in that crappie.com shirt. He had me hand out raffle tickets, and I wasn't even sure we were raffling stuff off. But we did, and almost everyone got a little something. Thanks to all that donated goodies to the raffle.
CG1 drives hard, I can tell cause of the crack in the cake! doh
Lots of members showed up. It was a great event for sure.
The food was awesome. Who made that pineapple stuff desert, mmmmgood.
This last pic is of RobAnderson running down Shu cause I had forgotten to give him the Slabsauce award. He fished with NO MINNERS! And did not do to bad especially considering his fishing time was cut way short early on because of trolling motor issues. He did not even start fishing till about 9, and place 4th I think.
Great event. So who's gonna do the next one, maybe they'd get one of those coveted crappie.com fishing rods like Skeetbum got (which is only available via "good crappie.com deeds" like hosting an event). doh

Wow....looks like a great time. You did a great job organizing this Tim. Having done quite a few in Mississippi I know first hand it's a lot of work. My hat is off to you.

Thanks to everyone for helping this go as good as it did. Rob and Tina Anderson were a huge help supplying cookers, side dishes, fish and know how in feeding groups of folks. I couldn’t have done it without you. Another big thanks to drdore along with Speckanator, Pontoon Pappy, and many others that donated to the door prize fund. Drdore (Sam) isn’t even a member here in FL but in TN and wanted to help this go well. Some very nice jigs with extra attention to detail went to Slab Queen, and Phantom 309 got the many Jigheads that he sent. Thanks Sam, a great gesture. All told, many folks put their helping hand in and things went very smooth. Crappiegirls cake was completely gone before everyone left, thanks Linda. SlimJim and his wife Paula also contributed, the two kinds of slaw were both awesome.
As always, Slab was a big part of the event. He and the two boys came bearing gifts for just about everyone in some way. Rods, hats, calendars, stickers, and the really cool limited edition commemorative T-shirt’s. We don’t call him the boss for nothing, extra big thanks.
I had a good time and it gave me a new respect for those that take the lead on hosting one of these. I was officially busy. I looked around and saw a lot of smiling faces and friends enjoying some time together, so I think it was a hit. My Queen also made it there and took a few pics. Nice to finally put a face with a screen name and say hello in person. Many made a pretty long trip to attend and I appreciate the effort. And now I know how to better help someone else when they host one.
Anyway, here’s some of the pics.
