Thread: Florida SLABFEST 2019 - Help....

I know, “ What’s he got goin now?”

Last October 5 we had a gathering at Monroe that was one of the best ever. It was very special to me for the simple fact I was able to attend. I was 3 months out of surgery and feeling good but not yet myself. The crowd was big, near 40 people as I remember, and the vibe was just fantastic. Everyone enjoyed themselves and talked about it for a long time. It’s my turn to thank everyone for being there when I needed them most, and to give everyone a chance to gather and do what we love to do.......FISH!!

November 23 is the only time I have to offer, and my freezer is pretty bare of fish fillets, but I want to put a gathering together. I’ve never done one of these before and I know it’s a big undertaking, so any and all input or help will be appreciated.

Please let me know who will attend so I can figure out a way to feed everyone. If I can’t get enough fish we’ll have some burgers or something, but no one will go away hungry. So speak up and see where this ball rolls. This is the Saturday before thanksgiving which may mess things up some, but it’s all I got to offer.
