Things got a little "jiggy" yesterday on the Best coast. Aside from taking a page out of Anchorman Vic's latest transitioning(I actually bought some live shrimp), I mainly chucked my normal plastic assortment.I had planned on targeting Sheepshead but they didn't avail themselves yesterday. The number of <18" Reds(30+) I boated yesterday was unprecedented by me. A true blast but none for the grill, although a surprise species(gotta love the salty surprise factor) was a fat 14.25" Flounder that was just right for the sandwiches I had in mind. The trout bite was "off the chain" and they are continuing to be fooled by the plastic offerings(will they ever learn, hope not, lol). Biggest salt speck was 17.5" with a nice amount >15". Full moon phase had a distinctly longer <-0.0 low tide influence making navigation
exponentially hazardous. Another nice Brine blast on unequivocally Florida's best coast!
