    Default Woodruff and Beresford success


    Did pretty decent fishing with the kids on Woodruff and Beresford the last week or so. Trolled Charlie Brewer Sliders on Woodruff and used jig/minnow under bobbers on Beresford. Distributed about 70 fish total to elderly church members from four fishing outings from 11-13 inches. My eldest took the big fish award with a 13.5” specimen, his personal best. Looks like we’ll get one more shot at it before we head back to the frozen tundra of MN.

    Nice fish. I miss fishing Mn. I used to go with my dad and mom to Leech Lake every spring for two weeks to fish walleyes and pike with some yellow perch also. In the summer we fished some of the rivers for catfish. Do you ice fish? Don
    I don't mind sharing where I caught my fish.
    Most was caught in their mouth.

    I tried ice fishing once and it didn’t seem to be my cup of tea. Luckily, I’m able to fill the void with FL trips as my wife is from DeLand.
