Skeet, let me sharpen up the saline agenda 1st...this crappie schedule I've been keeping lately has kept me on a salt-free diet for the last couple months!! Things you can be sure of= I haven't forgotten ya, and the odds of success will be heightened after a couple pre-fishes, probably starting this week. Also, you can rest assured that salt fishing factors are now positively rising by the tides/day AND be aware of the "risks" of adding SALT to your diet. Remember, don't drive through beautiful, lush farm country unless you're willing to be farmer some day!

What you say about farm country is true, though you may mean it as an analogy. The years I spent driving the big, agricultural states and all the upper Midwest in springtime are burned in my mind. When my mind starts to wander and it isn’t thinking fishing, that is where I find myself. The bitter cold makes no difference. Looking forward to the trip Doug, you ready, I’m ready.

Jeff, my referencing was to the "fish towel" not the hat!

Is he wearing the towel because the hat is ripped up? must be a lucky hat if not, maybe time for another

Naw, it’s all good. We were at Myakka River state park. Terrible connectivity there. Wifey ran 20 miles!
